Our company uses a behavioural interviewing process. How does this fit in?
A. It’s a great match. The system
measures behaviour — how we go about doing our jobs. If you’re concentrating on behaviour in your interviews, The
system can provide an objective confirmation —
or a contradiction — or it may
simply identify a few issues that need to be investigated more carefully.
And it provides behaviour-based interview questions to probe the areas of
concern.

Q.
Does The McQuaig System™ recognise any temperament (behavioural)
differences between males and females, different races, etc.?
A. Not at all. In fact, our
research shows that sex, race, age, etc., have absolutely no influence on
the results. One of the bonuses of using the system is that it can help us
to recognise and discard our own personal biases by forcing us to consider
everyone equally.

Q. How
does it work when an individual is asked to do an assessment on-line?
A. Individuals are emailed their
own, personal ID's and Passwords within a link to McQuaig On-Line®.
Candidates are first advised of the privacy policies in place and to agree
with them. They are then taken directly to their own personal
questionnaire, which they complete section by section.
When they submit their responses, their reports are emailed directly to
you within minutes.

Q. The McQuaig
System™ has been around for over 30 years, how up to date is your system
anyway?
A. The system is being constantly
up-dated. Each year, new capabilities are added, new research studies are
conducted and the on-line service is enhanced. Each year, we build on our years of experience and
solid expertise in the assessment field to help companies make better
people decisions.

Q. Do I
have to purchase the whole system?
A. No. You can purchase a single
tool, such as The McQuaig Word Survey®, or a combination of
products. Purchase only what you need —
and in the exact quantities that you need. Send the completed forms to us
and we’ll process them for you, score them yourself online or have the
candidates complete them remotely. No matter which method you choose,
you'll promptly receive your reports by email and will be eligible for
full telephone support from our team of consultants.

Q. If I
send the reports to you for processing, how fast can I get the responses?
A. We offer a four-working-hour
turnaround time, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday,
(Australian, Eastern Standard Time). And we email the reports to you, to
make sure you receive them in confidence.

Q.
What if I want to discuss a report, do I have to pay extra for that?
A. We want to help you use the
system as effectively as possible and encourage you to call with any
questions or to discuss the reports. Not only do we not charge for
telephone consultations, but we even have a national 'local call rate'
telephone number (1300 764 377).
